I am a signed lady!

It is official! I have signed with an agent from MTM! I am so excited! He was super nice and I am thrilled about this next chapter of my life!! I have worked hard and it is starting to pay off!

Things are starting to look up! I met with K.C. and her husband today about them helping me with my songwriting, and I feel so good about all of it! They were so nice and helpful! We are meeting with them again on Friday! God has just been directing my path again and again whether I realize it or not.

Tomorrow after school, I am going to go meet with my soon to be agent, and that is super exciting! Maybe I will be able to audition for paying jobs soon! Wouldn't it be amazing to be able to call myself a working actor?!

School is still hard, and I still have about two hours worth of homework every night, but I am starting to get into the swing of things again I think.

I've been able to talk to Jelena more regularly! It is nice to be able to talk to her again! I miss her a lot! And this is a picture of us.

I've been going back to youth group, and I realized how much I missed it! So many beautiful people there. They are so encouraging.

I'm ready to start writing songs again!
I have been doing ten minute writes every morning since the sixteenth. I think this will help a lot with just getting some ideas on paper and being able to come up with cool ways to say things.

I have been working out every (weekday) morning, and I feel good! I have lost about a pound! I know that doesn't seem like a lot, but it is still encouraging!

     School started on the sixteenth. I am excited about this year, but it is going to be hard. A few things that are happening every morning : Work out. Ten minute write. Breakfast.
Now, I'm not very good at any of those things! I tend to get less and less motivated as the days go on, but I am really going to work hard to keep going, even when I don't feel like it. There is going to be a lot going on this year....and that's a little scary to think about. BUT, I work well under pressure, I have no idea how, but I do, and so I will. I WILL WORK WELL UNDER PRESSURE this year.

I got school supplies today! I am so lame, and I LOVE school/office supplies. Colorful pens, highlighters, index cards, post-it notes! I love it all<333 hehe!

Last Day of Summer!

I spent the last day of Summer with my best friend! We went swimming and laid out in the sun <3 Then we went to her house and watched Vampire Diaries and demolished an entire pizza! Haha! Today was good, and tomorrow is the first day of my Junior year of high school! That is blowing my mind a little bit! I think this is the first Summer that I haven't been completely bored for the last half of it! These last three months have been so amazing! I'm loving life a little bit, although that may change when I have to wake up at 6:15 tomorrow morning! hah!

Also, I found out that Addison's brother is going to be helping us with Straight Play. Needless to say, but I'm a little less than thrilled. Tomorrow is the last day of Summer, and I'm going to go swimming with Kayla. Sabrie's boyfriend gets here on Thursday. It will be the first time we actually get to meet him, so that's exciting! Last night I laid in bed with Sabe and watched about Four episodes of Friends and together we demolished an entire bag of Flamin' hot potato chips. 

None of those sentences had anything to do with each other, so please excuse my writing.

Dress up Mondays:)

Hair : Spiral curler, one direction, brush out, hairspray at the end. 

Makeup : liquid eye liner on top, small wing, mascara on top, a little bit of red lipstick

This morning I felt like getting all dolled up<3 No matter how old we get, every girl still likes playing dress up every now and then! Hah!

That is all that is left of my Summer. Then I will be busy for the rest of my life! hah! I'm ready to get back into a routine.

Bring me Carolina

     The last few days have been good<3 I'm enjoying my last tastes of Summer until we meet again next year. I keep finding myself staying up late watching sad movies, and I'm not quite sure what that is saying about me right now! hah! Nonetheless, I think it is a good thing. The wonderful thing about movies, is that you can let yourself feel sad for a couple hours and then you can come back into real life and do productive things and be happy. I think those two hours of letting yourself be sad are crucial though. They may be the only thing keeping me sane at this point. Yesterday I spent the day with Kayla and it was lovely. We got passion berry tea from Starbucks and listened to the Avett Brothers with the windows rolled down. It was good and then I came home and watched The Vicar of Dibley with my mom until she decided to go to bed. But, again I found myself not really tired enough to go to sleep and not really awake enough to do anything else. So I turned out all the lights and watched Blue Valentine. That movie was so good, but so so sad. I didn't cry or anything like that, I don't really think it was that kind of sad. It was the kind of sad that just makes you ache inside. I guess yesterday was actually a pretty weird day looking back on it! But it was how I like to spend my days and so that was nice. I just really want to go on a road trip though...I want to go to South Carolina. Maybe someday I will do that, go on a road trip to Charleston and go to the beach and eat crab and read a good book. That sounds good, doesn't it? I just want to know why everyone writes songs about Carolina. Bring me an ocean; bring me mountains; bring me cold fresh air and warm nights in bed and I will bring you a melody that will make your heart break and swoon all at the same time. I just need something to go on, so bring me Carolina.

Sabrina and I are going to dinner! I'm excited because I haven't been out to eat at a restaurant in forever! Wavy hair, black tank tops, short skirts, and heels :) That's my life right now! <3
