Performance Week : Day Two

Today was our first performance in front of an audience! The turn out was pretty big! Everything was going really great until...it wasn't. Jon and Aaron have to go up in harnesses for the burp scene. The guy running the harnesses started pulling Jon back up (while he was hanging from half of one strap) because someone opened the curtain too soon! It was so scary! And then the curtain got jammed because both were happening at the same time! So we couldn't close the curtain, but we managed to get Jon down! But when they tried closing the curtain, there was a loud crashing noise! Nobody wanted to touch anything incase the bar holding the lights fell on the stage! So we finished the song we were doing and had to pause the performance to fix everything. Some of the leads went out and sang and danced in character while we tried to figure everything out. It was so scary! We were all forced to get off the stage and wait. After about three songs, we continued on with the show. Everyone was a little shaky after that, but we finished strong, and nobody was hurt.

After the show I went to lunch at Go Go Sushi with Zac, Emma, Hayden and Jelena. We had a good time! It was the first time that Emma and Jelena had ever had sushi!!! That was super exciting! After we ate Zac decided to go home and the four of us went next door to get frozen yogurt. It was fun to just hang out and talk :) When we were done I took Emma and Jelena home and we sang Adele "Don't You Remember" super loud and obnoxious and it was beautiful<3

Also, this is the first time in the last two months that I have been home at three. How wonderful is that? :)
